UNBROKEN: Once a Hero, Always a Hero

From time to time, Car for Ukraine team are sent videos of our cars being hit by the enemy. We pray that inside the car a life might be saved by the vehicle’s armour. But we know a body can still be torn apart.

UNBROKEN is the Lviv Para-Ice Hockey Team. Car for Ukraine sponsors UNBROKEN because this is our contribution towards building lives after war-fighting is done. This August, UNBROKEN joins the Para Ice Hockey Teams of Ukraine at the Great Britain Exhibition Tournament in London.

The Goal of the Campaign = EUR 20,000

Sending 16 players and staff members to London — flights, sledge and equipment transport, accommodation, insurance and local logistics — costs about €55,000. The team is sourcing alternative funding but is relying on Car for Ukraine to cover the final €20,000 — the part that turns an invitation into a trip.

We need to close the goal by August 5, when flights and accommodation must be booked

Who will go to London to compete?

UNBROKEN Para Ice Hockey Team - Ukrainian military veterans of the russia–Ukraine war.

In the March 2026 Car for Ukraine community has managed to raise 10k EUR+ for the sledges for these warriors. Now they are going to show how these sledges do the work. And we need to give the final boost for them.

Collectible Patches

Everyone who contributes €100 (~$115) or more will be able to receive one.

• UNBROKEN Para Ice Hockey Club Patch - symbolises resilience and courage, portraying a para ice hockey player as a reflection of the strength and fighting spirit of the team.
• UNBROKEN Lviv to London Patch - represents the journey the team will be taking.
• Once a Hero, Always a Hero Patch - recognises the courage of these soldiers on the battlefield, in the hospital and on the ice.

Team-Signed Match Puck

Everyone who contributes €500 (~$575) or more will be able to receive one.
A real puck signed by the entire UNBROKEN roster before they board the plane to London.

Everyone who contributes €1,500 (~$1,725) will be able to receive one.

Your Jersey will be specially printed with your name. When ordering your Jersey, please be careful with sizes as there can be no returns and no refunds. Sizes are based on mens: S, M, L, XL, XXL, XXXL.

Where does my money go?
Every euro of this campaign goes to UNBROKEN's trip to London — flights, accommodation, sledge and equipment transport, insurance and local logistics. The full trip costs ~€55,000; this campaign covers the final €20,000. Anything raised above the goal funds the team's next season and brings more wounded veterans into para ice hockey.

How can I be sure my money is spent wisely?
We are fully transparent with our donors. We report on every vehicle in our media channels, showcasing their journey from donation to delivery at the frontlines. Additionally, we have a separate workflow that tracks the progress of each donated car, and we provide updates directly to our donors.
