# Car4Ukraine

## About
Car4Ukraine is an international volunteer initiative founded in February 2022,
sourcing, upgrading, and delivering cars and trucks to Ukrainian warriors on the
frontlines. Since the start of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, we have
deployed 853 vehicles worth 7.68M EUR, supported by 250+ volunteers from 30+ countries.

Our process: we source roadworthy 4x4 vehicles in the EU and UK, transport them
to Ukraine, repair and install armor, paint and brand them, then deliver directly
to specific frontline military units. More than 50% of our vehicles come as direct
donations from supporters around the world.

Car4Ukraine operates in partnership with AY Institute (Lithuania) and Intellias
Foundation for Change (Ukraine). We have been covered by Business Insider,

## How We Work
1. Source cars in the EU and UK (purchases and donations)
2. Deliver trucks to Ukraine via logistics network
3. Repair and install armor at our workshops
4. Paint and brand vehicles for military use
5. Deliver directly to frontline military units
6. Repeat -- for as long as it takes
